Ray Hansen has more than 20 years experience in serving the Qualified Plan market as well as providing Wealth Management services for individuals and business owners. Ray is jointly responsible for New Business Development, Fiduciary and Investment Guidance for plan sponsors, Retirement Readiness for plan participants and Financial Planning / Transition Solutions for business owners. Prior to joining CDA , Ray was President/Owner of Kidder Advisers Inc., where he led the Qualified Plan market segment and Business Consulting Team. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Drake University and has been certified by Fiduciary Insights ( FI 360 ) as an Accredited Investment Fiduciary. Ray is active in local charitable and community organizations. He has served as Chairman of The Blank Park Zoo Board of Directors, President of the Blank Park Endowment Corporation, President of the Board of Trustees for Children and Families of Iowa and has served on the Board of Directors for JDRF of Central Iowa. He has also sat on the Des Moines Community Foundation’s Investment Committee and is Co Founder of Maddy Cunninghams Classic Volleyball Tournament benefiting Children’s Cancer Connection. Ray lives just outside of Des Moines on a small farm with his wife, 2 alpacas, 2 emus , numerous goats chickens and a friendly swarm of bees. He loves anything outdoors and especially the time he spends fishing with family and friends.
